I filled any gaps from the join of the resin with araldite. I then finely sanded down the resin so it was ready to spray.
Clamped tight in the vice for the glue to set.

This was a model making project we were given in the first semester of 2nd Year. We were given an object and had to make an exact (or as close as possible) replica to two or three times the size. I had a pair of scissors and had to make them two times the original size.
